Mekong River Commission has released the project documents for the proposed Luang Prabang Hydropower Project on the Mekong River which is set to start construction in 2020.
This kicks off the 6-month Prior Consultation Period, which involves technical evaluation and public consultation by the member countries. Detailed information about the project is made available to the public and can be viewed in the link below.
